Family and Friends Mission Statement:
To represent the client who hired us as well as representing the “Professional Organizations” (i.e. Idaho Association of Professional Auctioneers (IAPA) and National Auctioneers Association (NAA) as current members. Acting in a “Professional” manner for our client returning any and all personal items found prior to and during any sales. Remaining Insured and Bonded at all times . Estate sales are handled primarily to benefit the client but also find a median balance for the clientele who attend our sales. We allow our client to assist in determining the best way they wish to do a final liquidation of all items that did not sale at an estate sale. Finally, and foremost, our goal is to maximize the sale of estate items for our client.
Hi! I’m Myron W. Curtis of Family and Friends, (LLC). we specialize in Appraisals and Business/Estate/Personal Property Liquidations. I have worked on appraisals, the liquidation of Antiques and Collectibles in Southeastern Idaho for well over forty years as Stage Stop Antiques.
I have performed appearances and interviews on the Antique and Collectible Appraisal Fair in in coordination with Channel 8 KIFI. I was the host of an Antique/Collectible Show and Appraisal Fair in conjunction with Channel 3 KIDK and the Post Register. For over seven years, I was appearing on the “Trash or Treasure” on Channel 3 KIDK on Thursdays Noon and 6PM.
Currently I am teaching an Appraisal & Liquidation class two times a year in coordination with Idaho State University; also hosting a few appearances a year for Charities, Historical Societies, Museums, Eastern Idaho State Fair, Assisted Living Centers, and Hastings Book Store.
Qualifications:
Education
- Certified Appraisers Guild of America personal property appraiser certification program
- Graduate from the Missouri Auction School
- Accredited Appraiser from the National Auctioneers Association GPPA
- Working in the Retail/Wholesale Family/Owner Businesses for over fifty years
